no one in my area will teach me the type of dance i want to learn.
(anything lyrical/contemporary)
they say “this kind of dance comes from years of practice”
and that makes me angry.
why can’t i start my practice now?
just because i’m not 5 doesn’t mean i can’t start dance.
what i learn when i’m 5 does not account to what i will want to do in the future.
i know that i want to learn it now.
