They look so much nicer now! And healthy, too…
It’s also a great feeling – sitting outside in the sun, digging in dirt. If only I had a garden…

I am DONE with this goal. As of today. Until next time the dirt is sapped of nutrients and the roots are too big (or too small) for their pots. I combined all my spider plants into one pot – an experiment, but I won’t be crushed if they don’t make it and they look much fuller with forces combined. And I got rid of my rhododendrons. Does that make me a murderer? Well. I didn’t like the look of ‘em.
Okay, got two bags of Shultz dirt. Been saving pots for a while now. Yesterday I re-potted everything except my spider plants and my rhododendrons (2 each, both extremely hard to kill!). I’ll get those two before the week is up. Once I’m done, I’d like to acquire an aloe vera and a wandering jew, think I can justify that since I’ve taken care of my other plants. Four more pottings and I can cross this off my list.
I have been meaning to do this forever. I think that the dirt in most of my pots is completely devoid of nutrients. I water my plants and the next day the dirt is dry and crumbly, not the deep brown of pungent soil.
