We just started STAR Puppy class which is a pre Canine Good Citizen class. The first week was awful because there were so many new puppies to see, but this week was pretty good. We did sit, down, and walking on a loose leash. We also worked on taking treats nicely. Brigitta has become a little bitey again, but is getting better with our treat game. This is all review, but with much more distraction. She’s started a phase of testing boundaries, but overall still doing well.

This week my cousin, our vet, said that Brigitta was the best shepherd she’s ever seen and the only one she thought would actually be a good therapy dog. Yay! Good girl!
Brigitta is 3 months old today. I had planned to start puppy class with her a couple weeks ago, but it didn’t work out. We should start next week.
I have been working with her at home though. She knows sit and down well. Potty training and crate training are pretty much a success. Her recall is getting better every day, and she now walks on a leash quite well. I’m mostly working stay and a more reliable fetch and just started working on stand.
