Wii Fit 10 months ago

Until recently I have really lapsed on yoga or even focusing on posture at all. I got a Wii Fit for Christmas and I’m noticing posture improvement as a side bonus with the yoga and balance games. It’s slow though, I have much room for improvement.

This is finally starting to become natural for me, for the most part. Still needs some work, but definitely improving.



Starting to Make Progress 22 months ago

I’m finally getting to the point where I’m almost always aware if my posture is good or bad, and having the core muscle strength to keep it good a big percentage of the time. Little by little, I’ll get to where I don’t have to think about it much.



Getting Better 23 months ago

I think my posture is getting better. I certainly think about it more and correct. But then my back gets tired…. I know the more I do the stronger my muscles will be.

Well, I thought my posture was improving. I’m certainly more conscious of trying… But then we went on vacation, and I was saddened to see in our pictures that I still have much work to do. My shoulders are so slummpy, if only I can feel and be more conscious of keeping them back where they belong.

The more regularly I practice yoga, the more I notice bad posture and keep good posture. It took me a while to figure out what good posture felt like when standing. I still have a ways to go, but I can tell there’s improvement.

I’ve been trying be more aware of my posture and correct these last couple of weeks. I need to start doing exercises to strengthen my back because those muscles are just not used to being used properly. I also need to start my other goal of daily yoga. That will help strengthen and my awareness.
