Almost there

I’ve been doing a much better job at keeping my room clean, but I still have some things I need to clear out (mostly just on my desk). But I’ve now mopped the floor, my closet has been mostly organized, and I am figuring out storage! I just need to get a hamper in/near my room now, as the only real issue I’m getting is that I throw towels and clothes onto the floor. I’ll likely put my old small hamper beside my desk, then bring it down once a week when doing all my main laundry. Then I need to clean and dust surfaces and I’m pretty much done. I no longer keep dishes or garbage in my room now, at least for no longer than a day :p

Wake-up call

I spent at least 2 hours cleaning last night. I had a gross wake-up call that caused me to go into a frenzy. I wound up with 2 bags of garbage and one for the recycling bin. It was disgusting, I’m ashamed and embarrassed of how bad I let it get, and am not even willing to disclose the full nature of how gross it was. My floor is completely clear. I have gone through almost all of my belongings, and will be able to complete the project in the coming days.

From this point on, I will never not clean my room, as that was just disgusting. I\m not counting this as completed since I still have some more things to do, but I also need to prove to myself that I can keep this attitude up permanently.

Things I’ve completed:
1) Separate all the trash into what can be recycled and what can’t. Then actually take the bags out of my room.
2) Sweep the floor.

Things I’ve partially completed:
1) Go through belongings to see what will and will not remain in my bedroom.

Things I’ve yet to do:
1) Dust and clean off furniture and mirrors/windows.
2) Do all my laundry and organize clothing.
3) Mop the floor.

So much to do!

I’m a lazy procrastinator. My tiny room is full of junk that I need to clean up.

Things that need to be done:
1) Separate all the trash into what can be recycled and what can’t. Then actually take the bags out of my room.
2) Sweep and mop the floor.
3) Dust and clean off furniture and mirrors/windows.
4) Go through belongings to see what will and will not remain in my bedroom.
5) Do all my laundry and organize clothing (and then purchase something in which I can organize my clothing, as I’ve no place to put it!)

I think that’s about it. I’m going to try to do at least one of these steps every week, but hopefully sooner/faster than that! And then I’ll just have to actually KEEP it clean :)
