paint

This was the first place I painted on the new house, I did it before the pantry since the washer and dryer needed to be connected much more than the food needed a place.

...And this is my pantry! Painted stones, so much fun, I made them more colorful than real rocks, and I had fun with the shapes as I did it too.
I can’t wait to be finished with the walls and start on real canvases now that I have a designated room.

My sister’s pantry, I made it look like it was made of bricks.
I found out that I could have probably lined her pantry faster with real bricks than “make” each one to be a brick with paint, but I’m happy with the result, I liked it so much that I painted my pantry too, and that picture is coming up next.

...to paint a mural on my nephews new bedroom, my sister moved to a bigger house and wanted a spacial theme for her son’s room, so I painted one wall with this made believe spacial landscape.
It is still missing lots of tiny white dots of stars, to fill in the dark spaces, it will have glow in the dark paint on the dots, I also want to also give accents to the light places on the mural so it will glow in the dark among the bunches of stars.

I have so many other projects I’d like to get done first, and paintings I owed before this one, but it couldn’t wait, I had to do it before his furniture was in.

I got to paint and that is the cool part.

Easy breezy sketchy…

Ahhh!

Sometimes I have to sketch them in a few minutes… they probably will never make it to a big format.

I just finished this.

And I have 3 on the way… yey…

I have paper and paint and I’m going to use it, little by little.

You inspire me, if not to be subjects or maybe you will, at least to push myself to get those “to do” themes out of the way.
I’ve been drawing, and painting…and I been reading and thinking.

I used to finish them in one day…sometimes in a few hours…
I don’t have time, I need to paint; it is not something I do for fun…at least not all the time; it is more than that.
Time and a place… I need that…
