One of my friends successfulyy gave up gossip for her New Year’s Resolution. It’s not like I spread vicious rumors or anything, but right now there are about 5 things I’m dying to say “Can you believe he did that?” or “she’s doing WHAT with her wedding invitations!” I have to stop and think that I wouldn’t like it if people were talking about me like that – or in the tone of voice I hear in my head. Sometimes it’s just so much fun to be catty, but I’ll try to keep it to snarking about TV or movies, not people I actually know.
