I got three LSAT books from the public library. I am going to look over all three of them and see which one I like the best. Then starting this fall (once all my summer activities are over) I am going to begin the process of studying for the test. I looked at their website today; they offer the test in December, February, June and September. I am going to aim for the February 2010 test date.

I already have a master’s degree, but I have always wanted to be a lawyer. I am serious about this career move. I don’t think I can be a librarian forever. Still, I must stay with the city until my retirement is completely vested; otherwise I am throwing away a great amount of money (well it was great before this recession). I should be 100% vested by the summer of 2013. I know the LSAT scores are good for five years. So if I spend some time studying for it this year; take it late in 2009; the scores should be good through 2014. I could even apply for law schools in 2013 and start in the fall of that year!
