change somebody's life (for the better)

I’m going to belatedly declare this down for the work I did in Mexico and further for being my friends pillar of support right now, I know I have changed his life for the better, he even told me so.

I just got back for a service trip to Mexico. We set up a medical clinic and built a community service building/ hurricane shelter. The most rewarding work however was definately handing out eye glasses peoples faces would light when then could finally see correctly. I am really excited to get working on this goal even more. Helping is so rewarding.

I like the idea of all of us doing one unified action (i think that was mentioned before) or working towards one specific unified goal in this common objective. sadly i have no ideas for said specific goal.
