I often find myself saying 'sorry'
when I tell someone what I think or want. But my beliefs and opinions are part of me, I have a right to have them and to express them. As long as they don’t upset or offend anyone why shouldn’t I be proud to express them? I think in the past I said ‘sorry’ because I didn’t believe that anything I did or felt was important or deserved to be taken seriously. I’ve gradually come to see that my views are just as important and valid as anyone elses. I’m now making a concious effort not to say ‘sorry’ about what I think.
