even just waiting for the computer or the printer – any 5 minute block – I REALLY need to get serious about this – it just makes me tired and SUCKS time I could use for much more enjoyable activities
it does help to read business magazine articles in the morning while waiting for the computer to boot up
I’ve been thinking maybe a reward system would help…

March 22, on the last leg of the flight to San Juan, the movie stopped playing and I found Bookworm on the monitor. I didn’t recognize that it’s still a computer game, even though it was Delta’s computer, until after I got frustrated with the quirky responsiveness. Sigh. But vacation was dreamy, the cellphone completely died, and there were not monitors at every seat on the flight home, so temptation didn’t find me. We’ve only been home since the 29th, so I’ve been too busy to be tempted; I’m hoping I’ve broken the cycle at this point.

than I want to admit! The games seem like a harmless stress reliever until they become an addiction. I did make it through another day, yesterday, and got a good 35-minute workout, too.

a good “start” day – I resisted temptation all day! I even had a book with me at lunch. Of course, that’s another addiction, but not one to tackle now.

had no companion and no book at lunch yesterday, so out came the handheld solitaire and again waiting for the movie to start
better so far, today – reading, dusting, doing laundry, enjoying the sunshine!
