learn about the stock market and investing

I know that what happened today with Bear Sterns is… Bad news Bears (im from Chicago.. I had to throw that out there ;) )

I hope that I don’t have to switch my focus from growing my money to protecting my money..

Obviously The stock market is a tricky thing to understand.. or else there would be millionaires around every corner..

I am having such difficulty raping my mind around the stock market… its probably because I dont have the time or finances to really delve into it..

But this is one of my goals for this year.. I want to pick a few stocks/mutual funds and Invest even a little bit of money in them.
