For my first two associates. Deadline was today and I did it Monday. So I will wait to see if I was approved just yet or not.
Cannot graduate this summer after all.. I must wait for a class to roll back around to my campus in Fall 2011. Therefore, I want to work towards a THIRD associates, then. i went to a counselor today and found out that my school only allows us to have two associates programs under my name. I was told that I could go ahead and work towards my third anyway, and then add it to my name when I graduate from one of the other two (or in my case, both). However, if the program changes drastically, without my name being in it, I wouldn’t be “grandfathered” into the changes. It’s a toss-up. I really love the idea of having three associates, though, and my parents had said that I could… Well we will see, I guess..
This semester is going to be a bit of a challenge. I’m taking what is said to be, by everyone who has gone through the program, and the teachers themselves, the hardest [non-general]class of my program. Administrative Office Procedures. I’m very nervous that I won’t get through it, but with a bit of struggling, and support from my classmates, I know I can do it. Then everything that is left will seem fairly easy to me, which is a great thing. After this semester, I will have a total of 18 credit hours left to take in order to get both associates (and three of those are an elective, and three are my actual internship). I would love to get done in the spring and start job hunting, but if worse comes to worse, I will take it a bit easier and get done in August. I love college, but I’m kinda excited to just get done! (Guess it doesn’t help that my boyfriend graduated this past summer, and I don’t see any of my other friends at school anymore.)
I’m halfway done to a dual associates (Office Administration and Technology- General // Office Administration and Technology- Legal). I am almost finished with my third semester in college. I will be taking nine credit hours this summer, and have already registered for fall with 17 credit hours. At this rate I should be able to graduate by next summer. I love my school and will be sad to leave it (I’m not planning on transferring but instead, finding a job), but I am indeed ready for the next chapter in my life seeing as everything else has been falling in place (finding the one I want to be with and ready to move on). So yep!
