#7

My boyfriend, Austin. He has always been a good friend to me. And he stood very patiently by my side as my best friend while I had a boyfriend (who was not treating me correctly), even though he wanted me. I admire how much he cares about me. I also admire how much of a well-rounded person he is, he seems to know a bit of pretty much everything. He’s just bottom-line, amazing.

#6

Nick Vujicic. It is amazing how someone can be born without arms, or legs (as he was- and it’s something we take for granted), and have such a positive outlook on life. He is a very strong person and he speaks to many. :)

#5

My late friend Katrina. Katrina struggled in her short 19 years to stay healthy. She had several health issues, and one day they took her away from this Earth. However, I admired her strong will to live. She also did not have a home for quite some time (and she couldn’t live with me because she was states away) but she never once let that get her down. Nothing ever did.

#4

Cindy Winters. Even though her husband, a Church pastor, got killed right in front of her, she kept herself together. This was a major tragedy that she didn’t deserve in her family. She is now giving her testimony to many people in the United States. I myself don’t know how I could keep my composure.

#3

My best friend Erin. She’s been through quite a bit medical wise, but she’s a very strong person. And loving, as well as caring, even about those whom she doesn’t even know. She is a sweet Christian girl, and she’s always willing to help out whenever she can. I can trust her with anything, and she is very supporting of myself as well as others in their weakest times.

#2

My Grandpa “Bugs”. This man has had only one arm since I’ve been alive (as he lost it during a work-related accident), but I have never seen him as handicap. He can do just as much, if not MORE than your average man can do. With or without his fake arm. And I’ve never heard him complain about having only one arm, not even once. He never utilizes handicap parking, either, although he qualifies. He is the sweetest guy ever. He might not be perfect, but he truly cares about his family. I love him very much.

#1

My mom.
She is amazing. She’s my inspiration, my example, my protection, my everything. She is one of my best friends. I do not know what I’d do without her, all I can say is that being a 17 year old would have been much harder without her. I love her dearly. <3
