My names katie,
i live in the south of England
and i dance for a school called SHAKE!
throughout England we are well known and have people from all over the world (including France and America) travel out to dance with us.
We mainly specialise in Street Hip-Hop and breakin’
and take part in the world championships in Germany.
We are also launching dance campaigns in America, Tokyo and many more places.
i started dancing when i was 3 as a ballerina
however over 4 years i realised ballet wasnt for me and stopped
i then started street dance classes soon after, and after that i started HIP-HOP and Breakin’ (i also did a shor course were we learnt urban ballet)!
when i was 12 i danced in the west end at the London Palladium, although i had done many compatitions and shows and had traveled far to do them, it was at that show that i realised dancing was all i wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I am now almost 14 (and i know i seem young) but this year i am taking part in The Big Dance in Trafalga square, The Breakin Convention in london and travelling to many more places to do many more shows and competitions.
I am also enquiraing about getting auditions to try to get noticed and signed to an agency!
I have always loved and wanted to dance ever since i was 3 and was dancing around my bedroom to spice girls bt now i am looking to make my dream a reality and finally get noticed as a dancer! I really enjoy my performances at the West End and on big performance stages but i would love to dance on stage with the likes of Justin Timberake (Kelly, one of the people who traveled from america to teach us a masterclass has toured with him and said it was great!)or in music videos!!
