By the way, if anyone here is planning a wedding in the Tampa/Sarasota area – I have learned a lot in the process and am willing to give advice.

is in 4 weeks. I feel like I am forgetting major details. I hope that is just stress. My hair dresser can’t do my hair that day so I need to find a hair and make-up person. I need to pick out jewelry for my ‘maids. And presents for the people who have helped me along the way. I can’t wait until the day is here!

But very little wedding planning has happened and my wedding date is 6 months from today. I mailed the deposit for the hall to mark the occasion. So far I have a dress, the rings, and the hall. So many more things to do, I don’t know where to start. Thankfully, I have a very close friend who LOVES planning things like this.

I went to a bridal show yesterday & had way more fun there than I expected. I got lots of great vendor prices and I WON a full day spa package. Now I am even more excited about my wedding. However, I’m still too indicisive to bite the bullet and reserve the reception site – I’ll have that done by next week.

We had been talking about it for a while but it is finally “official”. I went to the public library today and got as many books as I could carry on wedding planning. I have 14 months, but a lot is happening between now and then so I am trying to get an early start – esp since its a destination wedding in the Caribbean.
