Zumba the other night was fun but I’m not very coordinated when it comes to the salsa/latin dance steps…maybe w/ more practice.

I tried rollerblading yesterday for the 1st time in 2 years. OMG, my legs were burning! I use to rollerblade for hours about 10 years ago. It was certainly easier then. I was so disappointed w/ my distance/time on the rollerblades that I did the elliptical for 30 minutes to make up for it.

I am doing better at being active! Yay me! Now I just have to keep it up.

I joined a group called the Tampa Bay Fun & Fitness group and went to an event last night. It was a blast. This could be a great source of motivation for me. Tonight I am taking my 1st Zumba class.



Goals & progress (or lack of progress) 1 year ago

My goals for getting fit are to be able to run, participate in yoga & pilates, rollerblade more, have more energy and make exercise a part of my life.

So, what have I been doing to attain these goals? Not much. The only real progress I’ve made is drinking more water & less soda, and going for walks (2-3 miles) on my days off.

The weather is starting to change; hopefully that will get me outside more.
