I am reading The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous, and Broke by Suze Orman to pick up tips on the best pay to pay down my debt. It seems like every time I have stopped spending on credit cards something comes up (like a wedding) where I have no choice.

I signed up for an account on Mint.com, which compiles all of your financial information in the same place and reminds you of upcoming payment deadlines, alerts you to low bank account balances, etc.
I ended up putting $170 on a new card because I had to pick up my coat from fur storage. That balance was at 0 and will be back down to zero within a couple of weeks, but I still don’t like that I had to use credit for it.
I transferred $400 to my Visa when I got paid on Friday. I’m hoping to have extra money at the end of the month that I can transfer over as well.
I ended up putting about $200 on my Victoria’s Secret card because of holiday shopping (mostly at Bath & Body Works, as you can use your VS card in their stores). This means I have $200 to pay down on that card before I can attack my Visa, which is the major source of my credit card debt at this point.
