Did you hear about the lady who decided to take up golf? She went to the sporting goods store and bought a great set of clubs, a bag, shoes, and some nice leather gloves. Then, she went to a sportswear store and bought pants, a couple of skorts, some sleeveless polos, a sun visor, socks, and a jacket. Finally, she joined a country club and signed up for lessons with the golf pro.
When the bills started to come in her husband hit the ceiling!
“You’ve spent a fortune on this hobby of yours! And that doesn’t even count your greens fees! When the summer is over you’d better be the best golfer at that club or it’s over! No more golf for you!”
The lady had a wonderful time golfing all summer long with all her new equipment, but, as it turned out, she wasn’t exactly a prodigy. At the end of the summer she knew her husband would make her abandon her new passion if she couldn’t prove it was worth it. So, on the way home from losing the club championshi​p she stopped at a pawn shop to see if they had any trophies. They had a beauty! 1st Place! Tall and shiny! Unfortunate​ly, it was topped by a Greyhound. There was also a small trophy with a lady golfer on it.
“Could you” she asked the pawnbrocker​, “Switch the lady golfer to the top of the other trophy?”
The guy said that would be no problem and fixed up the trophy for the lady who took it home, triumphantl​y, to show her husband.
The​y plan was almost foolproof! Until, that is, when the husband turned the trophy around and read it’s inscription​:
“The Fastest B*tch On the Course”
