I had this really great idea which I wrote down last night before I went to bed, and I had every intention of writing the whole thing out today, but I got terribly distracted and instead just knitted a billion rows in my Harry Potter scarf. There’s always tommorow though. Of course, if I keep telling myself “I have plenty of time, I’m in no hurry,” then eventually I will run out of time and I’ll be screwed.

I’ve acquired a little pink notebook!! I carry it in my purse and jot down ideas as soon as they come to me.
George’s eyes bore into me like lasers, searing into me, demanding my undivided attention. I was too aware that the only sound in the room was the antique cuckoo clock perched on top of the television on the other side of the room. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
“Look away,” I mentally begged him, “For Christ’s sake, look away.”
I could literally feel the heat emminating from the stare, it was almost too much for me to handle.
“Stop it!” I willed to him, with all my might, “STOP IT!”
His gaze suddenly broke, and for a few seconds I thought “Holy fuckballs, it worked!” But he placed his drink on the coffee table between us, wiped his pamls on his jeans, and looked back up at me again. I clutched my glass tighter, hoping it wouldn’t shatter under my frip and feeling the terrible silence grow. I could feel the sweat beading on the back of my neck, a familiar dull humming in my ears.
“Stop, stop mentally undressing me, stop staring at me like you’re going to swallow me whole.”
He suddenly cleared his throat, causing my heart to leap so viciously it was almost painful in my chest. His voice was a rough, raspy whisper when he spoke.
“Cassie…”
“Stop,” I thought, “So that I can at least try to return the favor.”
Oh yeah, I scribbled down that little doozy last night.
I’ve started. Now I just gotta keep going. I’ve been meaning to buy a little notebook to carry with me to jot down all of my ideas as soon as they come to me, cause I’ve had all these great, funny ideas and then withtin five minutes they’re gone and I can never ever remember them!
I should make “Buy a tiny notebook to write down all my story ideas” on this list.
This is something I’ve been telling myself I would do since Jr. High, and then I kinda never did. Considering where I’m at in life right now, I’m gonna focus mostly on school, but hopefully someday I’ll be able to gt around to this.
