update my wardrobe

I have been eye-ing Hunter Boots for a LONG time. The price has always kept it on my list, but not in my closet. Well a few weeks ago i was randomly looking through sales and i came across some Hunter Boots in Festival Tall. Which is perfect, because i couldn’t decide whether to get red or black :)

Furthermore, I stopped my Old Navy to get my bf a vest he wanted… but i ended up walking away with a orange peacoat as well—its so cute, especially for the 60%off. Also, popped into Gap since they were having additional 30% off sale items and picked up some jeans and pants that were on sale, you can’t beat $18 for great jeans.

I have expanded my wardrobe quite a bit.

First i finally found some Dr Martens that were made in England (The company got bought in early 2000s and now they are made in China, and not same quality). I found them on this great website Bonanza.com. I got them in this taupe/dusty pink color, which i find very attractive :)

Then I decided to participate in my First Black Friday… let me tell you… people are INSANE!!!
So i went to GAP at midnight on Thanksgiving—since they had 50% off everything for the first few hours.
What I got (from my list)
1) Jeans!—finally jeans that are long enough for me and dont look funny on me
2) Camel Wool Coat .. it was already on sale and then they took 50% off- which it AWESOME!- Camel looks so much classier then other colors. Also, its so in this fall/winter season.

Then i happen to run in to Banana Republic, where i found the most beautiful pencil skirt—its like the skirt of my dreams- It sits perfectly and just Perfect :)

After Black Friday came Cyber Monday…
Amazon had its amazing shoe sale—so i grabbed a few things.
1) Black Flats- plain black without anything else—by BC. My first flats….They go with everything. Need to be worn in a bit more, but gorgeous.
2) Navy/Blue Flats by Calvin Klein. I must say this is the best find of that day for 70% off—these gorgeous flats will be a staple in my closet for a while.
3)Sandals – by Teva—I never put on shoes that felt this comfortable right away! I think these might be my summer travel shoes now :)

About a year ago i looked at my clothes and realized that its so not me anymore…
What my wardrobe consisted of was mostly things i wore in high school (even though it wasn’t that long ago and the clothes fit me fine), they did not exactly translate into the person i so far have become in college.
In high school i had phase of goth/punk clothes containing skulls ad what not and just bought things i would never wear now.

So.
My goal is a perfect wardrobe for me. Something that would show my new taste in clothes- more sophisticated, elegant,chic and maybe a bit bohemian, in addition to helping me build my own style.
