go to more shows

I just got back from vegas and i saw three shows while i was there.
I saw some pet comedy thing, mystere (i cant spell), and spam-a-lot. it was fun :)

I’m going to more this year than I have in the past few years. I saw flogging molly last night, I’m seeing Harry and the Potters (don’t judge me) this week, Brand New in a few weeks and Ben Folds in April. I’ve seen John Mayer twice already and I hope to see him again in the summer. Of course the obligatory Warped Tour… but that doesn’t seem like enough over the next few months.

I think my problems are that A. I’m very picky about what music I will listen to and B. no one at CMU likes the same music as I do. When I was at Flogging Molly last night and having ridiculous amounts of fun, I decided I don’t need anyone to go to a show with me and even bands I don’t know can be great fun to mosh to. Next semester, I’m bringing my car to campus and going to a show every weekend, even if it’s by myself.
