have friends over more often

...and everyone came
and everyone had a good time
and boy, was I tired!

and now I’m thinking about NEW YEARS!

...and we had a birthday extravaganza
with videos and everything
they are such a cute couple,
it was nice to get out the yellow coffee set again

....I love to help newbies when they get their new computers! I am having Margaret over to help her with her new imac. I’m really looking forward to it. We work together and I’ve been to her house, about a hundred years ago, but have never had her to mine. This should be nice :::grin::: now that the table’s nice and clean!

Monday, Margaret is coming over for some Mac consultation…
It was funny, we were standing there, talking about it
and up came Brian, and Margaret said, “Oh, you can come too?!”

I would have paniced over that a month ago,
but I extended the invitation
I don’t think Brian’s going to come ::laugh::
but I do think that Margaret will!

Bonnie couldn’t come (She’s off to Seattle to visit STEPHEN!), so I met up with Nell and we had a good time. We ate dinner at El Pollo Loco and then came back to work on our projects. I got the pattern cut out for some pants and shirts….

...and then Linzi and Sean showed up for dessert.

I love the look of glasses on the table after everyone has gone…
there like an echo of the festivities.

I was sitting there on Thursday at lunch
and I turned to her and said,
“Why don’t you come over Sunday,”
and she said, “OK!”

She’s been over before,
but I’m trying to clean up a bit
and I made some cookies
to go with our dinner

(I’m really lucky to have a friend like Alyce)

...Bonnie is really coming along on her quilt!

I’ve been trying to keep up Quilting night
even though it’s back to work…

I was really tired last night,
but it was good to see Bonnie

T.V. was on the fritz
but we listened to Country Western on the ipod
Bonnie finished putting her blocks
into horizonal strips, she’ll have a quilt top next week!

Now, THAT’s exciting!

btw, this is the first quilting night
with the new, improved CLEAN table!

about what I’m gonna do with that big bunch of ribs
maybe I will have some people over :::grin:::
