My dad brags that we might go this year.

It’s obviously a lie that will soon enough crush my dreams and hopes.

So I’m not going to keep my hopes up… I’m just gonna save money for a certain plane ticket.

Everyone goes, for the “culture” experience or to see what their “new home” will be like when they get their animating job.

You know what MY reason is? To go to Ghibli Studio. That’s it.

screw all the cultural dancing, fireworks, looking like a nerdy tourist, sushi…woah, woah, woah… strike that… sushi is another good reason for me to go to japan, but other then that, Ghibli Studio. I don’t care if it takes me 30 years to go, I MUST go…
