Since I’ve committed to this goal, I have noticed that I have been much more careful with when and how I use the word. It makes me feel good to know that I’m doing better with this.

the word 'sorry' 3 years ago

I know this may sound like a weird goal, but it’s important to me. I’m not sure why but I’ve always had this tendency to overuse that word. Saying sorry when I mean it is one thing, but to say it when I don’t mean it is pointless. I’m definitely no pushover, but I catch myself saying sorry sometimes when I feel I’ve disappointed someone or even when I simply make a mistake. I am who I am and I shouldn’t be sorry about those kinds of things.
