I don’t even really like the taste of pop all that much. I’ve just gotten so accustomed to drinking it. For the past week I have been drinking a lot of soy milk and water. I’ve gone a couple days without any pop at all and I definitely haven’t had more than one bottle a day. That’s progress right there. The more I drink soy milk especially makes me realize that I don’t even really enjoy the tase of pop. Why the heck didn’t I realize this sooner? Anyway, I’m surer than ever that I will continue to drink less pop. So, yay!

Recently, I have been drinking a lot more milk and water. I have not been able to wean myself off of caffeine entirely yet, although I probably never will. The best thing right now is that I’ve committed to not having more than one pop a day. And I haven’t for awhile now. Soon, the next step will be to skip a day and see how I feel. I tried this a couple times before and I got sick each time. I’m hoping that since I know now that the key is gradiation, I can be patient and take it slow. One day at a time!
