Ok, so since March I am getting closer to paying off debt. I will have another credit card and what I owe for getting my wisdom teeth removed paid off in July.
So, I applied to get into an apartment, and I asked if they could tell me my credit score once I had been approved. I ask if they can tell me my credit score because I have this goal, and she says that she cannot, but she CAN tell me that it’s OVER 700!!!!!!!! Can you beleave that?
in THREE MONTHS since I have ACTIVELY tried to raise my score, and it’s already OVER 700!!! YAY!!!

I am not willing to pay the money to check and see if my credit score is higher since I got my free report in March. I can put that money toward paying off the other debt that I have. Since MARCH of THIS YEAR I have paid off two credit cards and two collection debts. I did not know that those collection debts were ever there!!! If you have not checked your credit report for free yet, DO IT!! It’s so worth it. I have no idea if paying off those things has made any change to my score yet, and will not know until next March when I check my report again and allow myself to pay the $7.00 to get my score, BUT I feel as if I have done a LOT to pay off the debt that I have and am hoping that it will reflect positavely on my score. My goal is to have ALL of my debt paid off by the time I can get another free credit score so not only can I look at that report and see EVERYTHING paid off, HOPEFULLY I can look at that score and see it raised a significant amount.
I checked my score last year, and paid off two SMALL debts and just from that my score JUMPPED nearly 30 points. From 580 to 610. I would like to be debt free and as close to 750 as possible before I get married.
