Visit Japan

I have heard that like many other countries, if you want to live in Japan but were not born there, you can never have full citizenship. Is this true, and what does this realistically mean? Thanks.

It doesn’t look good for going to Japan over the summer, as I had hoped. The plane ticket is just too much, and I’d be staying with a military family and wouldn’t really be able to go anywhere except that neighborhood. =__= I guess I haven’t any choice but to admire from afar.

I may have a chance to go to Japan this summer, and stay with a friend of my dad’s. The liklihood of this happening seems fair. I don’t know what part of Japan I’ll be staying in, but I should know soon. I’m soooo excited!
