Midnight Snack?

This morning, I actually woke up at 3 am and became so annoyed with my mess that I decided to get up and clean it. Possibly, there’s something wrong with you when you decide to clean house at 3 am. However, I did get a lot of the stuff I’ve been putting off done before I left for work. It did get me wondering, though. Will I ever be satisfied with how clean this place is, or will I just keep fussing over it, even when the rest of the world will call it clean? That’s nothing I need to worry about now, though- I think I’m only narrowly escaping a visit from the guys in the biohazard suits… LOL ;)

Dishes

There’s no chore I hate worse than washing dishes. I would rather scrub the toilet! I think keeping the house clean would be easier if I were better able to keep the kitchen clean- I actually had to bribe myself by puttingthe TV in there to get it cleaned up this time, but overall, the place is looking good.

Good Start

Yesterday, I finally got the house relatively clean. I would still like to do the picky stuff, like shampoo the carpets and wash the walls. For now, though, it is at least visually clean, without clutter everywhere, and will be easier to keep up. As usual, it wasn’t a matter of having a monolithic task, but just deciding to hammer away at it for a few hours until I made progress. Now to keep it this way… Uffdah!
