Again, I haven’t updated here in a long time. I got almost everything paid off, but then I used one of my cards to pay for car insurance, so that was 2k. I have also taken out a new car loan. They let me borrow 17k without any questions. :) I love my new car!
I am keeping this goal on here until I get that kiwi card paid off.

I haven’t been updating here, but I am down to 1400$ owed and half of that is on a card that is charging me 0%! I am glad I learned my “credit cards are bad” lesson early in life. Now let’s just hope that I remember this later.

I never took the money from Johann, but I did finally get the back pay that I was owed, so I sent out a check to pay off the balance on my chase card. They should be getting it any day now. :)
Now I need to decide what to pay off next. I’m thinking the loan for Blondie with 12% and then my kiwi card at 6%.

I made an extra payment today.
Chase MC keeps sending me letters saying that I am no longer in the Air Force, or if I am, I need to send them another copy of my orders… This is the third time that I have had to send in information for the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and I am getting tired of it.
My friend Johann was complaining that he has too much money(?
) and that he will give me a loan for the $1800 that I still owe on it, but I have to pay it back in 4 months. I can do that and the sooner that I can cancel my Chase card, the happier I will be.

I started keeping track of my bills in a book a year ago, back when my debt was $16,671.03. Since then I have it down to $10,353.65. Hmmm, looking at that, it doesn’t seem like that much. Most of that is my car loan (about 6k) and I did buy a laptop that I paid off already, so… I don’t know. I wish that it were easier to make a dent in this debt, but I got into it slowly and I’ll have to dig my way out of it slowly too. yep.
