Thanks for the invite, especially since I’m in school, but not technically a librarian yet. I’ve got an assistantship researching digital libraries for an uncoming class though. Ultimately, I’m interested in going into either public or digital libraries. I like to work under a strong mission. I love program development and management.

The first thing I remember wanting to do career-wise was when I was a little gal and I used to play ‘library’ with my stuffed animals. I’d line them up with stacks of books and then put slips of paper into their items to ‘check them out’. So at the ripe ol’ age of 38, I’m getting closer to my childhood dream.

I am indeed a knitter and a Mama and extremely happy in both arenas. Thanks again and it’s lovely to meet y’all.
