well, after playing lead guitar for such a long time it was pretty simple to get to grips with, and greatly improves finger dexterity for lead guitar.

well, having been playing lead guitar for a while this was easy enough to pick up as it follows exactly the same principals, and actually improves lead guitaring as well (improves finger dexterity).
Well, I’ve been playing lead guitar for about a year now, and am making slow but steady progress. I have now decided to venture out onto bass guitar as some of the bass lines I hear are IRRESISTABLY funky.
I get paid this friday (24th) and I am planning on buying an Epiphone Thunderbird IV Reverse bass. I test played it in a guitar shop last week, and it is killer to play.
I need to learn to play bass as my friends also need me to play bass in a Blues Brothers tribute band. If you’ve never listened to their music or seen the movie, I recommend you do, it’s some of the catchiest/feel-good music available. Some nice bass lines there.
