Daily: Reflect on at least 5 things for which I'm grateful (Happiness Manifesto #2)

Attitude of gratitude,

- Getting to sleep in even tho I wake up early

- Having the money we need to stock up on food

- Lots of great buffets to go to in Vegas

- A new business opportunity

- Being alive another day

Saturday 10/30/10

1. A place to call our own again and come and go as we please.
2. Living in a town with lots to see and visit, great places to eat.
3. A great partner who shares my adventures with me.
4. Great family who are there to help me when I need it.
5. Being alive another day.

All our friends who have called to offer us a place to live since our rental contract is up at the end of the month.

Again, grateful for the world wide web.

All those fruit smoothies we are drinking in the mornings now.

All the great places to eat out around town.

Friends in far off places who help me out.

1. Our wonderful friend, Tausha, who is graciously inviting us to stay with her when our rental term ends this month.

2. Our other wonderful friends who provide us with love and support in these transitionary times for us as we look for a new place to live or to buy a home.

3. Great local markets for takeout. Haven’t made lunch in awhile.

4. Cold beer in the afternoons.

5. All the casinos that provide great buffets we partake in every week.

Gratitude, the attieude…

1. All our wonderful friends who came over to share a wonderful meal, good conversation, and reiki attunements.

2. Our special and talented friends, Rand, Tausha, Nychel, Steve and Joanne.

3. Trader Joes, for the wonderful food we bought to make dinner last nite.

4. The lovely house we are renting to have these dinners in.

5. Most of all, the wonderful life partner I have who shares in these adventures with me.

Today…

The 168 Market near our home where I get such wonderful Chinese take out all the time and budget prices.

My wonderful wife who has been taking care of me during my down time.

Meeting a new diver friend in my training class.

Our wonderful friend Tausha, who comes by and does amazing, caring energy exchanges with us.

My step daughter, who finally made it down from Sacramento for a visit.

Today, I am greatful for…

Being selected to work for the US Census out of 40,000 applicants.

The dentist who pulled my tooth out because it was a goner.

Getting bonus money yesterday.

All the low priced homes here in Vegas that are affordable.

Gra-attitude…

1. Getting our 30 day notice so we are relieved of the expenses of supporting the home we are now in.
2. Getting hired for a temp job with the Census.
3. Fruit smoothies in the morning that clean me out.
4. The falling housing prices.
5. The Huffingtonpost.com and it’s wonderful articles.

1. Houseguests leaving and having our home to ourselves again.

2. The wonderful interaction we had with our houseguests from Australia.

3. The local Chinese market with their deli counter.

4. Watching our favorite shows via the internet with MANY fewer commercials.

5. Lost.

Attitude of gratitude for..

1. 99gb if music being downloaded onto my 1TB drive.
2. Sam’s Town buffet we are going to this morning.
3. Sunny day.
4. My Saab 900 turbo, very fast.
5. Getting checks in the mail.
