This is kinda odd, since whenever I start reading this book in public, everyone’s all “WHAT YOU READING?” which for whatever reason never happens when I’m reading other books, only this one.
So then I show them that I’m reading the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, and then they’re always surprised that I read this kinda thing for fun.
This is rather strange, since it’s perfectly in character for me to read this kinda thing for fun. In fact, because I am homeschooled, and because I’m prone to reading this sort of thing for fun, I rarely read anything for anything but fun. I mean sure, I get asigned all sortsa crap, but I’m such a nerd that I enjoy reading it. 8B
So yes. Indeed. This is totally fun. I don’t know half as much about the time period described in it, which is so depressing. I am reading this to change that, since from what little I know, I know that it’s insanely important to know this stuff.
In other news, I ought to go to some kinda Goth club dressed as a Germanic barbarian. HUZZAH!
