I give a tiny wee £8 a month to the British Red Cross. I think it is better to give a little a month than occasionally giving them slightly more. My sister used to give a couple of pounds a month to another charity, but they constantly sent out letters and magazines and stuff so that she knew where the money was going -clearly on the letters and magazines so she stopped giving them money. I like the Red Cross because I don’t get anything like that. Occasionally I get letter when some disaster has happened and they want some extra donations. If I want to know what they are doing I can go to their website.
The other reason I like the British Red Cross is they do work here in the UK and overseas.
