Get a book published

A friend has helped me format the manuscript, edit it, create a cover and print a few copies on Lulu. I owe him bigtime. It’s so cool seeing it as a ‘real’ book – and it makes it easier to ask other people to read it. People react differently to a book than they do to a very large pile of A4 paper… can’t imagine why!? I’d still love to get it published for real though.

It feels like I’m halfway there, as I’ve got an MS sitting with an agent at the moment, though we both think it’s a tricky one to place, and I’m halfway through a draft of my second novel. This one is much more straightforward, except that my kids have stolen my brain. But I really want this. But I keep getting distracted.
