I’ve got a step closer; I was motivated to create photo books for the children for the year 2007 seeing as they were 30% off until the end of April. I enjoyed making them, and I’ve also uploaded the rest of the photos for that year, so now I can organise them into a couple more photo books. Photo books are definitely the way forward, rather than having to deal with prints at the moment, although I’d like to choose some images to have printed and framed. It’s shown me that the job needn’t be too difficult, and I can organise the images a bit at a time and upload the photos as and when, rather than tackling an entire year at once; it’s easy to save it as a project and add to it when I’m ready. The finished books arrived at the weekend and look fantastic, the kids really enjoyed sitting down and looking at them, talking about what they had been doing.

We’ve got about 3 years worth of unprinted digital photographs stored on CDs and our hard drive – it’s about time I got them printed out and into albums where we can look at them. I’ve managed to go through last year’s pictures – big achievement – and I’m currently uploading them to a photo site, but it’s very very slow. Still, it’s a start.
