Being ill last week, I really couldn’t run at all and missed two or three runs to meet this goal.
Pity…
But 40.5 km is also already pretty cool! :)

Being ill last week, I really couldn’t run at all and missed two or three runs to meet this goal.

This was a nice run this morning with only two brief stops and a few short intervals in which I tried to pick up the pace. It was really nice.
It started to rain a little bit in the end, so that I decided to cut it a bit shorter, even though the rain was very welcome.
My daughter’s fever is back again, my stomach is giving me a hard time and I seemed to have misplaced my usual optimism somewhere this morning… It’s all off somehow.
But:
The little bit I ran felt ok. And it’s better to do a little bit than nothing at all?
Now I’m glad I went.
And I can try again on Friday.
A great run this early morning. :)
Aaaaand I (finally) accomplished my own silent little goal to “run 5 km without stopping”!
Yay!!!
My legs felt like they were filled with lead most of the time, but it still wasn’t too bad. The weather was nice for a change, a bit cooler and sunny. Nice!
Last night I was down with a little stomach flu and that added up to my usual nocturnal worries. Feeling better this morning, I tried to run but got a few cramps that weren’t funny and made that round a bit shorter than planned.
It’ll be better again next time.
I jogged another 5 km this morning.
I hardly slept at all last night and didn’t think it would be a good idea to go running at all, but it actually felt great.
As a little personal accomplishment, I made approx. 3.5 km without a break and the whole distance in 35 minutes. :)
I ran the first 5 km this morning. It was a nice run even though it looked as if it was going to rain most of the time (which it did when I was home).
I took two breaks to walk for a bit, which was not too bad even though I would love to make this distance in one single run.
