I talked to a (Russian) friend of mine to see if he knows anyone who can tutor Russian…just a couple of hours a week. I also looked up the Rosetta Stone software, and you can find all kinds of deals on eBay. Finally, I found some Russian/English translation software that I think will be useful. Between my books and the new software, I should be able to make so progress.

By sheer chance, I stumbled on my old Russian books from college and started looking them over. I’m not sure if I should be dismayed by how much I’ve forgotten, or happy by how quickly some of it is coming back. I figure this is a god way to practice a little until I’m out of my back brace and able to actually enroll in a class somewhere.
I took Russian for two full years in college and I used to be pretty good. Now, sadly, time as erased my memory. I’ve always wanted to travel to Russia, so what better way to rekindle my interest than study the language again? Georgia State offers Russian and it’s not too far from my house, so what am I waiting for (well, other than my spine to fuse)? Hmmm.
