Awesome way to learn more about where I live

or just a way to celebrate. Sunday i went up to the Tidal basin and rented a paddle boat, with all the tourists visiting the Washington monuments. It really is a nice way to see the Jefferson and Washington monuments, and a pleasant way to burn some calories. You really don’t get very far with one rotation of the paddle. LOL

I truly enjoyed playing tourist in my city and will do it again soon.

Oktoberfest

Went to the Oktoberfest celebration this past weekend at Ft Belvoir. Beer tent, food tents, oompa music and a carnival. Who knew it could be so much fun. I have driven by this for a few years and wondered how much fun it was. I shoulda gone earlier. It was quite fun!!!
