So apparently I only had one part to fix, and I fixed it tonight when I got home.
Thus, I am really completely, truly finished.

I finished my quilt Thursday night at 11:20 ish. I need to go fix a couple of spots. I will not mark this off my list until those things are fixed.
Oh and P.S. I even made a little pillow to go with it! :D It’s so cute.
I have all the blocks done. It looks so nice spread out on my bed with all my little stitches.
I have ten blocks left to quilt. Then after that I’ll need to quilt the edges and then hem it. Then it will be done.
I have 13 blocks done. 23 more to go. I am trying to do 1 or 2 blocks a day. My fingers are so sore because I don’t use the thimble unless I absolutely have to and I keep poking the needle into my finger!
I must keep November 19th always in sight!
I devoted all day Thursday to my quilt. I worked on my quilt last night when I got home from a party. I quilted for about two hours today. Now, if I quilt one block each day then I should be done with the quilt by November 19th. Then, after that all I have to do is finish the presentation and get that last paper signed.
I’ve worked on it this weekend. I need to sew ten more blocks to have a full size quilt. Then sew all those blocks together.
I finally sewed four reusable bags. By the end, I was sewing fast and in a straight line! Yay! This makes me happy. That was good practice to give me the confidence I need to do a whole quilt. Next up is a pillow sham…and probably more reusable bags because they are so easy to do and the environment will be thankful.
Whether I this for my project or not, I know this is something I want to do sometime in my life. Now that I know how to use my sewing machine I can do it that way and it will be a lot easier rather than trying to do it by hand.
