I feel the most rested after I sleep 8 hours. I feel slightly dead when I only get 7. It’s kind of strange.
But apparently, it doesn’t make that much of a difference because I have slept deeply lately with lots of weird dreams and everything. Yet I have felt really tired all week. I was always trying not to fall asleep in the middle of studying.
I am confused about sleep.

I have been going to bed an hour early. I didn’t last night because I was busy. But for a couple of weeks I was falling into the pattern of going to bed at 8 or 9 something, so we will see if this continues. I think it does help. Because I have been feeling less tired in the mornings and yawning less throughout the day. And I have noticed that in the mornings I can’t remember lying in the bed for very long trying to fall asleep or hearing my sister go to bed or anything, that means I must have been very tired and needed the sleep and fell asleep pretty fast. And I regularly have dreams and remember them, which is also a good sign of getting deep sleep. :)

I get roughly seven hours of sleep a night. I think I need a bit more because even after seven hours-ish I still feel really tired sometimes.
There for awhile I was sleeping really well. Lots of deep sleep with funky dreams. I don’t know what happened to that.

I still need to start making the cats sleep outside. They seem to be the only thing standing between me and a good night’s rest. And I can’t sleep on those nights when I didn’t eat dinner or I didn’t eat a lot. I can’t sleep when I’m hungry. So those are two things to work on.

I still have interrupted sleep. I just hate making the cats sleep outside! Night is when I get to spend the most time with them.

I changed this to get better sleep because I do think I get enough sleep, just not restful sleep. I get up and down and up and down during the night. I get woken up then have to go back to sleep. That is what makes me so tired during the day I think. So I need to work on sleeping all night and getting rest.

I’ve been able to take naps this week because I only stayed after school twice this week. So that has been nice. And I didn’t have class at all on Friday so I slept in late. But this won’t happen very often. I need to set a certain time that I should go to bed and wake up.

I took some long naps this week. I let myself sleep or went to bed when I felt really tired instead of making myself do something. I know I got more sleep last night and the night before last than I did earlier in the week because I put the cats outside. I’m getting deja vu I think I just wrote an entry about this a minute ago. Oops.

The first few nights this week I noticed that my sleeping was interrupted multiple times by my cats. So the past couple of nights the cats have went outside and I slept better. I was pretty sure the cats were the problem. I just didn’t want to admit. I still don’t really. I love cuddling with my cats, but they do wake me up a lot. Sleep has become so precious to me. I’m going to work on getting the cats to sleep outside more.

I think I have been getting more sleep. I let myself sleep later this week and really late this morning. Now if only I can stop waking up so many times during the night. I’ll see what I can do about that. When the warm weather comes the cats will hopefully sleep outside and I think that will be a tremendous help.
