visit a foreign country

I need a trip so bad, to get cultural perspective, to realize there is more than my own New England area, dare I say be the person who doesn’t speak the language…I am thinking maybe Ireland, England, Scotland at first, because I could get around without much of a language barrier. I still love the idea of Italy though…heck anywhere that is nice would work…have to make this happen sooner than later..

I think this Summer, I might need a vacation. And I am thinking Italy, I picked up a book on Italian, so I should brush up, it should come alittle easier because I know some spanish. I would love to see Italy the cities of Rome, Tuscany, Venice, Florence. We shall see, it depends upon other things, but the intention is set.

The world is so vast but being selfish I would say i would love to see many of the European countries and also much of the orient. Perhaps spend time in Japan in the rural areas. Visit the Parthenon in Athens, the Colesium in Rome, Venic, ahh the possibilities. Even some place warm would sound good right about now.
