I feel much better. I wish I could read everything I come in contact with, but alas, I cannot.
I will continue to read 1 main book. A daily inspirational and still no tv, news or newspapers.
I will take magazines and read them once, for 1 day, then get rid of them.
I will not read excessively on line about topics of semi interest.
I will continue with the quiet brain.
Thanks 43things!

It IS WAY easier to say it.
Information comes from so many different places in life.
Work, friends, phone, outings, books, radio , TV(dont have to worry there), magazines, music.
Ok, no TV here.
A few movies. More this week than last…
Work-cant refrain.
I quit reading 9 million books a day.
I stick to 1. And a quote or 2.
I seem to be sleeping better.
Or waking up easier that is.
I read(imagine that) that REM sleep helps process all the information we take in in a day. No wonder I cant wake up to the alarm.
Also, our body is in paralysis during dreams, so we dont respond to the sight/sounds of them.
My REM sleep was taking over the last 1-2hrs of my sleep.
Beep Beep Beep Beep, went that alarm.
I can shut off work when I leave.
I can stop answering my cell phone.
I can stop thinking about everything so much, but that would defeat the purpose of this great brain I have.
Maybe this is why I have memory problems, and a listening deficit.
I generally read a fiction book at any given time, and have book marks in 5-10 non fiction, psychology type books at a time…
Anywhere I am in my house, there is a paragraph to read, or a quote, or a horoscope.
At least I dont numb myself with TV. 5 points for me!
