Im so lucky to be where I am.
Even with all the stresses, and work, and bills, and collections and ex’s, and moving, etc…
Im grateful to be clearminded.
I have made great strides. Barely visable, but to me they are huge. My reactions, and emotions, and actions.
Wonderful.
If my sister thought I was a snob before, imagine what she thinks now!!!

I find that I have stopped using the phrase Why me?
reality is way better than a broken illusion.
I know what I am feeling today and why.
I have learned to not act out until I know WHY.
I can some inner patience today.
I can finally stop getting in my own way.
It is 100% a way of life. and it is 200% better than what I have done before.
What kept me from getting sober in the first place was the never knowing what sober was. what sober does. I didnt know anyone sober. Finally with some support from my sis, we started daily meetings, and learning what a sober life looks like.
It has been fantastic. Finally living for the first time
Seems like everyone around is dropping like flies…
and here I stand.
Im feeling extremely good about it.
Its absolutely great.
I have made a few good friends, and life continues.
Camping trips and barbeques Oh My!
When I started, there were only 7 people on this site with that goal.
I have to thank my SISTER for showing me the wonders of AA.
And my mother who would have 8 yrs.
I now think before I act.
I can finish thoughts.
I can pass a drug test.
I can help someone else.
I can remember to take care of me, first.
Almost 3 months now! Im not having alot of trouble with this.
Its 4/20 today, and people seem to think I care! My urban word for the day was also drug related! How odd: couchlock.
Its a beautiful day for being alive and sober and being able to fully enjoy it!
I couldnt beleive how few people on this site had Stay sober as a goal, but then again, I couldnt beleive how many people are at 1 single meeting each night in 1 town.
Life is good. I seem to find what I need when I need it. And when it doesnt go my way, it eventually turns out that with out the trouble, I couldnt have learned what I did.
