support my husband in reaching his goals, too!

I think we had a breakthrough this past month! That’s exciting, because my life adn future goals, family plans become clearer.

I think we’ve decided that in a few years we will both move back to the states and pursue Master’s degrees together.
I’m getting excited to be a student. I think it will be soo enjoyable for us both to be students again.

While I don’t approve of unequal power in relationships and constantly reemphasize the mutual responsability and commitment and effort in marriage,
it comes natural to fight, pursue what I want and need. It’s typically in the moments of need, when a romanticly inspired gusto pushed me to forget about what I was hoping to get out of this day.
So, I’m going to recognize that I need to go against what is so natural for me.

This is more than just the very apparent goals, but also those heart level dreams. I think those can be the hardest to support…
I also sometimes get frustrated in the process… I’ve only focused on my goals and dreams up until now.
And then my counterargument would be that I’m thankful for this journey… and that it’s more than just those acheivement goals, but also about self-improvement goals he has, and the long time dreams, that often reflect some of our true values and passions.
hmm… from the life partnership adventure perspective, I know it’s very worth it to take this seriously.
