buy a small, fuel-efficient car

I’m – believe it or not! – considering buying myself a Chery QQ3. It’s a little car, very light on fuel, with a funky face! PLUS it comes in bright colours. I like bright colours.

The only problem is that – as far as I can glean from their web site – this car is not available here in South Africa. Yet!

With fuel prices rising steadily, I really need to seriously rethink my mode of transport. Sometimes I wish I lived in a big city with a good public transport system, but alas, that’s not to be. For one, I don’t really WANT to live there, with the horrible air that one could taste…

Don’t think I’ll ever really give up my Beetle, but maybe buy me a tata indica or something with a really light fuel economy rate to use for business purposes.
