start and complete a degree in library science

Not the hard copies, anyway! Downloaded the PDF files from the NET… I think I bit off a lot more than I could chew, with Mandarin Chinese as language elective! Half of the study guide goes towards pronunciation… Eish! On a positive note, at least I’ll be able to say hello in Chinese when I’m done…

I received a text message that my study material has been dispatched. I’ll pick it up from the couriers’ depot tomorrow. It’s officially starting this week… But I don’t believe it’s THAT hard… Only a matter of keeping my wits about me. After all, I have already completed ONE degree…

I spoke to a colleague this morning, despite my resolution NOT to mention this goal to anyone I work with. But then Barati is a sharp person, and I have discovered that she also has the idea of getting a formal qualification.

Maybe we should become running partners…

I have realised that I only need ONE more module to complete my current degree. So, I’ve registered for that module and plan to complete it, come hell or high water! I don’t want to quit school AGAIN. So now I’ll have to wait until 2011 for the library science degree, but that’s ok.
