My pops tried to teach me how to sail this summer. He had rigged up a sail on our little canoe and was explaing to me how everything worked. I figured we’d just get in the boat and I could see how to do it. Learn so much better hands on. After he told me all the necessities I hopped in the boat, he started to push me off, and i waited for him to jump in behind me…and he didn’t! “Theres not enough room for two people. I knew you wern’t listening to me!” he shouted, laughing at me. “Don’t tip the sail over or you’ll have to swim to shore and drag it with you!” Needless to say it was an exciting first experience, but i sailed around the lake and didn’t have to swim anywhere.
