Water Ballet 6 months ago

Swam 100 laps yesterday and practiced synchronized swimming for about an hour. It feels good to point my toe’s toward the sky once again.



On the Move Yesterday 8 months ago

According to the pedometer I walked 17121 steps. I don’t know how many miles this equals out to but I know I got alot done yesterday and I don’t feel even the slight bit sore today. Have got to get back to doing situps though as my tummy is my trouble spot.

Still weeding but attatched the pedometer and walked 8697 steps. No situps…sigh, backache!



Not so good today 8 months ago

But I did weed a very large flower bed and my back is killing me. Did fit in a mile walk and 50 situps before the weeding began.

Forgot to post yesterday that I walked two miles, couldn’t bring myself to do the 50 sit ups as my stomach was extremely sore but I pushed through the pain today and completed 60 sit ups.

Fitted in a mile walk this morning before all hell broke loose once again. The inclement weather was a good thing though. I completed 75 sit ups, 25 leg lifts and pulled out one of my post pregnancy aerobic tapes and aerobicized for 30 minutes. I had forgotten how much of a work out you can get dancing around in front of the TV.



OK, Officially Day One 8 months ago

Yesterday was a bust, after posting I was about to begin my exercise regime, the freakin’ tornado sirens started blaring and I kind of lost my mojo about the exercise plan….Die VS. Exercise?
But today was fantastic. I walked the pups over a mile, it wasn’t as fast as I would have liked, they have to stop and smell every plant, rock and other dog butts we encounter but it worked for the three of us. I also completed 60 sit ups and 20 leg lifts. Woo Hoo, I’m psyched.

I want to start doing 50 sit ups again everyday and eventually push for 100. I am also going to challenge myself to walk, bicycle, or run for a mile at least 5 days a week. When the weather starts getting warmer I will have to switch over to swimming laps as it gets hotter than a murph in Mississippi and the extreme heat/humidity makes it difficult to breathe much less run. I’m starting today. :D
